One of the major pieces of production machinery in the Makerspace is the laser cutter. It uses power crystals to simulate the strength of a thousand dragons. It uses a CO2 laser to cut and engrave material up to 6 mm thick. Primarily we work with plywood and acrylic glass, but we have also cut and engraved other spicy materials, so feel free to ask if you have a cunning plan!
